Brunello Di Montalcino Le Ragnaie Fornace 2013
We are fortunate to be able to cultivate vineyards with a very high vocation in three different microzones of Montalcino, allowing us to obtain wines that are different from each other and witnesses of their territories. Our vineyards are planted exclusively with Sangiovese and processed following the dictates of Organic Agriculture. We do not use chemicals with the exception of Bordeaux mixture and powdered mine sulfur well within the limits set by organic farming.
Le Ragnaie Fornace Brunello Di Montalcino 2013 We do not use fertilizers with the exception of a green manure obtained in autumn based on legumes, clover and other herbs which helps to regenerate the soils weighed down by summer work by enriching them with organic substance and penetrating them deeply with the roots of the various sown species. Furthermore, grassing prevents surface erosion by favoring the absorption of water by the soil and is an important habitat for many species of animals and insects, guaranteeing the formation of an ecosystem full of life.
